Anybody looking for a great place to fish in Ontario, Canada? I have been a customer of Camp Quetico for over 8 years now and I can heartily recommend this place! The accommodations are great with the cabins featuring 24 hour electricity, full baths, heat, air, full kitchens, large decks with propane grills, and satellite TV.
You can choose the American Plan where three meals a day are included or housekeeping where you cook your own food. Packages are either guided or unguided. Guides are also available at a daily rate.
The advantage of fishing with Camp Quetico is there are 105 boats placed on over 40 lakes. You are never crowded and many times have the lake to yourself. These lakes are located anywhere from 10 minutes to one hour from the main camp. Of course you can fish on Eva Lake where the resort is located if you choose. Each lake is different in character and the size and types of fish.
If you are a smallmouth lover, this is the place to fish. In my experience a slow day is 25 bass per person, with the average being between 40 and 60. There have been many days when I have topped 100 quality bass a day! True, no fish story here.

These are two friends of mine from the St. Louis area with a great pair of Black Bears. While I am not a hunter, I have been in the camp during bear season and I can assure you that the success rate is very high.
The owner's name is Barry Giles. Please feel free to contact him for more details on the packages and availability. You can always contact me at 314-276-6268 and I will be happy to answer any questions you may have.
