Well, my summer plans are coming together nicely. In two weeks I will leave my retail job at Cabela's in St. Louis and head off to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park for a week or so of photographing natures wonders. From there I will head to the Buffalo National River in Arkansas for a week of paddling and photographing.
Next I will start a new adventure. I will be the on site manager of Adventure Outdoors on the Meramec River for a couple of months. This is a canoe outfitting and campground business in the Ozarks. I am looking forward to the challenges that it will offer.
Sometime after the middle of July I will head out west again with a month or so back in Glacier National Park. Following Glacier I am trying to decide if I should go to the Pacific Northwest or head to the Utah desert parks. Maybe I will have enough time and money to do both.
Then it is back to Missouri for the annual Current River fall float.
I cannot wait for it all to begin.
