We got an early start heading to Montgomery Alabama for the RV Show. We took a side trip to DeSoto State Park and the Litter River National Preserve. The state park has a couple of waterfalls, nice cabins, hiking trails and a nice campground. Then we went on to the Little River National Preserve.
Every once in a while I stumble on a surprising find and this was one of those times. This is a 22 mile long canyon that is stunning. The Preserve is administered by the National Park Service and is a real unknown gem. There are waterfalls, lots of whitewater for kayaking and really steep canyon walls.

I will definately have to come back here again when the trees are green and take a lot of photos.
